Home study visit #1
Posted on: April 18, 2012
Well all–we just finished our first of 3 home study visits with our assessor. We think it went very well. Lots and lots of question answering, but quite painless. We have another appointment scheduled for next week and we got a copy of the safety audit so that we can make sure we have all of those requirements met. We just keep checking things off our list!

Can you say “Check-Check-Check” “closer-closer-closer”
Love to you both. PS – tell Chris I have a gift when your son arrives

Amazing what you have to go through! When people have a baby naturally, they just walk out the door, and there’s no supervision, questions, asked etc! You get more information with a guide for a new TV! You two will be wonderful parents! This will all be worth it! Are you doing an adoption from the U. S. or out of the U. S. ? I hear those ( out of U S are getting harder now. ) It’s really none of my business, though. Just thinking of you and wishing you the best.

Carol,
Thank you again for coming to the dinner. It was so great to see so many familiar and friendly faces. We are doing a domestic infant adoption.
Thanks for following us on this incredible journey!
